The Kagoati attack Molierre region and Kastyl

An influential Knight by the name of Kovac had made two important discoveries in the same year: First, the marshes to the south guarded by giant monstrosities were the door to hills of Ylistrium; Second, men from Kernaros had begun attacking and kidnapping villagers from the northern coasts in order to perform strange rituals. More important to him as a Sovarine knight was the latter, as he had witnessed these atrocities first hand and the war parties that had recently gathered. Kovac had not come back the same man as before. He petitioned directly to Giorgio Hekate (Duke of Ossentum) to supply him with more men and set up defences; According to Kovac, the Kagoati were mounting a new, reinvigorated front and they’d soon see them moving south which would be an imaginary invasion to most and fearmongering to those ignorant of the knight’s character. Seeing the scars of the man (And not knowing him for a liar) Hekate granted his request - the only lord in Elliaster willing to do so. The lone Sovarix would hastily try to drive back the bands of roaming kagoati from the northern shores and build defenses with minimal supplies.   Kernaros quickly seized control of Medoisse and Molise with the aid of the Kagoati people in the cities, leaving Montiga somewhat alone. Kovac had managed to stave off their advances as counts and barons aided him in Kastyl, but it was only to stem the tide rather than cull it completely.
