Holy Kingdom of Buril
The Holy Kingdom of Buril originated from the Seat of Buril and has endured for as long as history is written. Since it's founding, the country has had a wealth of resources available allowing for development and cultivation of land and industry even in harsh environments. Additionally it's said that the kings ruling of the Holy Kingdom are chosen by Buril, Creator of Perfection himself. These wise kings have created a prosperous kingdom, with a loyal populace and enough military might to fend off any who would oppose the will of Buril, Creator of Perfection.
The Holy Kingdom is large and because of the plentiful natural resources, self sustaining if needed. The country grew and formed peacefully because of the dutiful work om the many missionaries and diplomats which where send down from the Seat of Buril into the wider world. This has instilled a firm faith in the teaching of Buril and ensures it's population is aligned on the most important questions of life and moral principals. Although faith in Buril, Creator of Perfection is the dominant religion, public worship of other gods is generally allowed. Worship of Xaramanara, The Destroyer is explicitly forbidden throughout all of the Holy Kingdom because the destroyer god should not be granted strength in any form.
The Holy Kingdom of Buril sees itself as the protector of the world and thus has taken upon itself to lead the the research into the extraplanar invasions, Elium is increasingly dealing with. It's current hypothesis is that the Unity of Kirlin is conducting rituals to invite the invasion into the world thus inviting it's destruction. To stop these rituals the Holy Kingdom has declared a crusade against the Unity of Kirlin, vowing to destroy the wicked creatures that threaten Elium. The diplomats of the Holy Kingdom have faced more difficulties than anticipated to convince other countries to join the crusade and thus has been battling mostly alone.
