Elium The Fable Cradle

Elium is a multi continental, high fantasy, world filled with big and small empires. Elium is riddled with conflict and intrigue, be it between nations fighting for territory or crusades in the name of the gods. Not all conflict is fought in the form of open war. Small contenders on the continents forge alliances and make (shady) deals behind closed door to strengthen their position.   Furthermore, Elium seems to be dealing more and more with planar invaders from worlds beyond. This a growing concern for many people as the invader's entry points seem to be spreading. Nobody knows what locations are secure and which are not. Powerful individuals are attempting to figure out why the invasions are happening. Unfortunately, there has been no country that has declared the planar invasions their top priority, thus the individuals remain unsupported.
