Drake

The Drake is a fearsome foe. It is a scaly beast similar to the real-world sarcosuchus, though with a shorter snout. A prime specimen stands 5 foot 6 at the shoulder. For most of the world, it is a wild animal to be feared and hunted. But in Beht'adur, it is a normal mode of transport—a loyal mount that stops viewing its riders as food (though elven scientists don't really know why).
