Bukavac

The Bukavac (in world name tbd) is a frightening creature that can be found lurking within a variety of bodies of water on the continent where the kingdoms of Vedour and Coratan are located.
The Bukavac is a six-legged lizard monster that lurks beneath the surface of the body of water its claimed as its own. There's no sexual dimorphism between males and females. The crests upon its head help it blend in with the reeds and other water-born foliage, and it floats through the water with its head just breaking the surface like an alligator. Its common scale colour ranges from green to brown.
This creature is the sworn enemy of the kelpie, as the Bukavac delights in the taste of human flesh even more than the darker, more evil kelpies.
