The Early Storm

It came out of nowhere, sudden and violent. Too soon... Far too soon. Three years too soon. We were not ready...

Manifestation

Similar to The Ten Year Storm , this storm manifested as a thick bank of dark clouds with a thick wall of white snow. It is prefaced by an uneasy silence and stillness. Despite the high winds that announced it's arrival an hour before it hits, it is a slow moving and lumbering system. Unlike the usual storms every ten years, this one is slower and heavier, clouds hanging lower. Like the Ten Year Storm, magic does not affect it.

Localization

The storm hit the northern hemisphere hard. Unlike previous storms though, the southern hemisphere was treated to snow and ice. The furthest south experienced lighter snowfall, where the ten year storm never touched before. The system affected the entire world with a cold snap and precipitation.
