Final Communique from Queen Myra's Lost Love

My beloved Myra,   We will be home soon, and I cannot wait. If I was not needed to captain this last trade, I would have already taken to the boat up river to be with you again. I cannot wait to meet our son, he should be born by the time this letter reaches you. I know he will be strong, as you are. I have sent gifts for you both, I hope you like them. I promise to bring you something fitting of your beauty when I return home as well. I will see you soon my dearest.   Love,   Elryk Steelheart
This letter has reached fame within the kingdom of Agaland and Gyrmania, due to the controversy and tragedy surrounding it. It was written by Elryk Steelheart, once King of Agaland to his wife before his final trade voyage to Sahk'al Valik. En route home, their crew was assailed by the Valikai people. The king's flagship was lost to the waves and her crew slaughtered by the mages of the Valikai vessels.    The controversy surrounding the letter stems from the relationship between the king and queen. The queen was born royalty, the crown princess of Agaland, while the king was a common Orcish merchant of one of the sea clans. At that time in history, the interracial bonding was acceptable, however, it was expected a princess would marry nobility or royalty of an ally. Many were displeased with the decision to allow the union, while even more romanticized the union.    The letter has been replicated several times over, popping up through the nations in the back of romance books written based on the relationship between Myra and Elryk. A copy also exists in the vast record hall of Gyrmania. The original was lost to the fire that consumed a large swath of the Agaland records hall.
