Worshipping Alnir

A strong majority of the worshippers of Alnir have some abilities with illusion magic. Alnir respects deception and rewards those who successfully gain their way. The Demigod cares more about the accomplishments of his followers over their morality; In fact, morals are not required to worship him at all.

Most follower's of Alnir believe that the multiverse is made up solely of chaos rather than balanced by anything. As a result, devotee's tend to ignore common law, preferring to let time take lead. Most believe that the laws which bind creatures to punishments are a result of the universe's imbalance, and seek to disrupt the lawmakers as much as possible.

Alnir seeks devotion in those who study illusion magics, and those who use chaos to their advantage. The Demigod seeks those who are affected through some sort of mental ailment, hallucinatory divination, or just seek to cause anarchy. What were the circumstances that caused you to follow Alnir? Earning and Losing Piety

You increase your piety score with Alnir when you expand his influence throughout the world in concrete ways such as these:

• Finding ways to trick and deceive to get what you want.
• Causing a creature to become insane/crazed.
• Defacing the temples of Uktia.

Your piety score to Alnir decreases if you diminish his influence in the world or do any of these:

• Slaying an abomination that did not attack you.
• Giving aid to lawmakers.

False Aura. You change the way the target appears to spells and magical effects, such as Detect Magic, that detect magical auras. You can make a nonmagical object appear magical, a magical object appear nonmagical, or change the object’s magical aura so that it appears to belong to a specific school of magic that you choose. When you use this effect on an object, you can make the false magic apparent to any creature that handles the item.
