Earning and Losing Piety

You increase your piety score with Adyju when you expand his influence throughout the world in concrete ways such as these:

• Performing a ceremony for another to dream of answers.
• Visiting the Plane of Dreams and taking a token.

Your piety score to Adyju decreases if you diminish his influence in the world or do any of these:

• Interrupting a peaceful sleep for no reason.
• Causing someone to have a nightmare.

Adyju's Devotee

Piety 3+ Adyju’s Trait
As a result of your exposure to the plane of dreams, you've learned to walk in between worlds. As a result, you are able to cast the spell Blur with this trait, requiring no components, a number of times equal to your Wisdom modifier. All expended uses are regained after a long rest. 

Adyju's Votary

Piety 10+ Adyju's Trait
As your mind becomes more used to moving between the dream realm and the material plane, you are more easily able to pick out the strands which connect us all. As a result of this power, you are able to find the ethereal strings and pluck one. Plucking one of the strands enables you to cast Raulothim's Psychic Lance once per long rest.

Piety 25+ Adyju's Trait
As your relationship with the dream world grows stronger, you become immune to magical effects which would otherwise put you to sleep.
In addition, once ever two days, you can perform a ceremony in accordance with a special communion with Adyju. If done successfully, you may roll a percentage die. If the percentage is 10% or lower, the ceremony takes hold and during a long rest, if fully completed, you will dream of something useful.
