Tarus Kingdom
Structure
The King resides over the entirety of the Kingdom, and has assigned Lords that individually reside over their settlements.
Culture
The Kingdom is very traditional and strict with their customs and beliefs relating to Moradin and the hierarchy, however, the common folk is particular and very open and welcoming of surrounding nations and peoples. Trade is welcomed and because of the Dwarves adeptness in mining, has allowed the Kingdom to flourish off of their open nature.
Assets
Platinum, gold, silver, and bronze. Many different minerals and ores.
Religion
The most common religion in the Tarus Kingdom is the worship of Moradin and his teachings. The Dwarves continue his ideologies through mining and creation.
Trade & Transport
Inner-kingdom trade is mostly done through underground mine carts as the barren land of Tarus are inhospitable and dangerous.
Mythology & Lore
It is believed that the ancient Elder race called Gorogs, massive beings of earth that towered over everything else, existed before the time of the Dwarf and other now-common races. As the race was dying out, it is said that two of these Gorogs fell in love and decided to die together instead of apart, and so lay down next to each other in the region now known as Tarus, and their slumbering, massive earthen bodies became the two mountains now called Twin peaks. It is also the Dwarves belief that their people came from the bodies of the Gorog and consider themselves the descendants of the mighty creatures.

I'd rather be 100ft underground than 100ft over-ground.
