I have made my judgement! Your rehabilitation will be determined as follows....
— Justlight

Origins

Knowler and Beight created Justlight. He was the leader of the Justice Paladins and the Holy Judge of Astnyr. He spared the innocent and punished the guilty, making his trials fair and just. However, his Justice Paladins followed Strection for guidance in the present age, leaving Justlight abandoned and without rule.

Justlight's First Trial

by AuthorChase on HeroForge
Justlight put his first criminal to trial with the charge of theft. This Elven man stole a rapier from the Battle Mages' weapon storage, fleeing from the scene with the Battle Mages chasing after him. The accused told Justlight of how there were Wizards that became disgraced with their hunger for power, so he needed a weapon to protect his family. Justlight saw this motive to be true when he used justice magic on the defendant, so he gave him a light sentence. However, he dissuaded the man from doing it again, telling him it would hurt his family more than aid. The angel assured that there were more dedicated Wizards than corrupt ones within the Battle Mages, and the man took this advice to heart. Justlight sentenced the man to community service to help with the costs of repair and compensation.

The Twins

Justlight created Strection and Winter to continue Astnyr's legacy. The two newly created angels went to create Dwarves and Giants, making Astnyr livelier than ever. The cities in the mountains became prosperous, with Ironhammer founding the Crafters' Guild. Many Giants studied in Hystoria and became Scholars. Two military forces came with these changes. Justlight gained new Justice Paladins and Astnyr gained Berserkers to protect citizens. Justlight was proud of their successes, and he never regretted creating them, even in the present day.

Justlight's Fall

(battle scene here)   However, those peaceful times would not last. Sonance's vision changed Strection, making him tyrannical and paranoid. Justlight attempted to reason with him, but he faced force. What surprised Justlight was his own Justice Paladins turned against him, supporting Strection's cause. With his most of his Paladins lost to him, Justlight couldn't judge trials as quickly, leaving the people vulnerable to criminal activity. It increased since Strection's tyranny began, but Beight and her Light Paladins joined Justlight's cause in keeping the peace. It might be a futile attempt, however, and there may be worse to come.

Perks and Flaws

Justlight had an excellent judge of character, able to see through any deception. This made him triumph through struggles of trialed criminals and other citizens. However, he could not see what consequences his own actions and judgements may cause, for some of those on trial committed suicide after judgement. Even when Justlight meant well, it came with unforeseen results. Such as Strection's betrayal. Justlight felt he was far too lenient on giving him power over an entire race.

Animal Form

by AuthorChase on HeroForge
Justlight possessed the power to change into a winged dog, which enabled him to run and fly wherever he was required. Trials took place all over Astnyr, making this form of transportation necessary for the judge. However, even with this form, Justlight could not attend all trials. His Justice Paladins used their magic on the defendants when the angel couldn't. This was an effective system until the present day.
