The Platinum Lord
Description
The Platinum Lord is thought to be the first Dragonborn, created by the god Thryaxyz. He stands as a towering figure of his kind, embodying the truest pinnacle of draconic nobility and humanoid strength. Unlike most Dragonborn, he possesses large and regal wings sprouting from his back like those of his draconic creator. He wears silvery armor with a purple gambeson under the plates, and a silvery-purple hood covering the helmet and shoulders. He has piercing white-silver eyes, flecked with gold and orange which are more visible in bright light.Personality
The Platinum Lord is a paragon of justice, honor, and leadership. He does not demand servitude and instead believes that the role of a true leader is to care for those beneath them, not to exploit them. He is stern but fair, never fully distancing himself from mortals, instead seeing himself as a lord among them who must uphold the highest standards of propriety as a model lord for them. His code of honor is unyielding, and he expects his champions to follow it just as rigorously. He values battlefield honor over legalistic justice, believing that true honor is only proven through trial and conflict. He has little patience for deception and none for betrayal or cowardice, and those who break their oaths face severe consequences.Abilities
Powers
The Platinum Lord's presence alone is enough to inspire courage in his allies while instilling hestitation and doubt in those who fight dishonorably. He manifests through omens on the battlefield, guiding warriors who uphold his code of honor and ensuring their actions align with his ideals. As a lesser deity, he often sends his avatar to enter the Prime Material Plane directly, wielding his divine blade and leading by example. He places trials upon those he deems worthy of his favor, testing their resolve and shaping them into champions of justice. While he refuses to magically enforce oaths, he is relentless in seeking out and punishing oathbreakers, especially those who betray his teachings and their sworn word.Combat
The Platinum Lord is a warrior-god, engaging in combat not from a throne of judgement and rulership, but on the front lines of battle alongside his troops and champions. He fights with his divine longsword, forged from the remnants of a defeated evil dragon. He never fights simply for the sake of destruction, nor does he allow those who follow him, instead fighting to uphold the sanctity of combat and honor.Possessions
Tyrvalkris, the Blade of the Oathbound
The Platinum Lord's own divine blade, Tyrvalkris, was forged from the remains of a powerful evil dragon that the godling slew in combat. Rather than destroying the dragon's essence, he reshaped it into a weapon of nobility and honor, retaining the beast's essence as a way to honor a fellow warrior. Tyrvalkris is a sentient blade, retaining a semblance of the dragon's will, though reshaped to serve a higher purpose. The sword actively challenges its wielders, whispering doubts and temptations, seeking to lead them astray. Only those of unshakeable honor can wield it without succumbing to its trials.Armor of the Platinum Lord
The Platinum Lord wears armor forged from divine metals, gleaming like liquid silver.Realm
The Platinum Lord does not have his own divine realm, instead residing within Thryaxyz's domain, acting as his creator and lord's sword and shield in divine conflicts. When not waging war against the enemies of his lord, he watches over his champions and seeks out those worthy of his guidance.Relationships
