Starport
The old capital of Braeland. As a nation, New Braeland was falling apart even before the War of the Seeds. The assassination of King Trost by Jaspier Penrose shortly before the war's conclusion finally put an end to the reign of House Jels, and the city was destroyed soon after in the Battle of Twelve Acorns.
While now abandoned, thousands of years of Elanoran history still lies in Starport. From the colloseum to the Palace, to the docks and the scattered chapter houses of the knightly orders, the buildings here hold enough stories and history to fill multiple libraries. And the Dark Star barbarians were once Braeland Kings of old, and their story and service to the Little Warriors goes back generations.
Today, the city is inhabited only by ghosts and treasure hunters. The scars of the blight grip this land tightly, for although the Little Warriors were victorious in the Battle of Twelve Acorns, they were untimately unable to prevent Conclave forces from corrupting the Golden Acorn that lay here in Starport. The hollowed shell of that acorn still remains, driving both nature and mortal spirit to an eternal restless resentment, barely simmering under a veneer of harmless, dusty grief.
