Marikfort

Marikfort was founded during the war, both in defiance of the Conclave strongholds at Columbja, Greyknull and Fort Silverspear, and to provide a base of operations for the Verdant Light. With victory over the Conclave realised, Marikfort turned into a center of industry and trade, forming the spearhead of efforts to recivilize the forests and hills that made up the Columbjan Gauntlet, a perilous trade route to the Dinga regions.

Today, it is neutral ground and the primary political center of the newly formed Verdant Kingdoms. While the Light still rules here and maintains the peace, delegations from Pizol, the West Portlands, Akpaholm, Tanquary Bay and all the baronies and petty kingdoms make up a sizable portion of the city workforce and population.
