Server Roles

There are many roles on the server, each with different rights and sometimes responsibilities.    

Staff Roles

This category covers all staff roles.
  • @Head Admin - The owner and person who has the final say in any decisions and disputes, even between Admins. Shares responsibilities with @Admin role. They get a fourth character slot.
  • @Admin - the caretakers of the server, deciding on the currently functioning rules, resolving disputes and have the final say on any matters. They get a fourth character slot.
  • @Moderator - responsible for taking care of the community and if strictly needed, resolve disputes.
  • @DM - or Dungeon Master. People who have full right to run plots, encounters, events and other matters involving In character actions. They get a fourth character slot.
  • @Encounter DM - mainly responsible for running encounters and short-lived RP things. They get a fourth character slot.
  • @Event DM - a role for people who wish to run casual RP things for @Players.
  • @Lore Keeper - people taking part in creating lore on the server. Any @Player can get the role on request.

Functional Roles

These roles exist to give people an easier time to know who to address if they have questions. Please mention them instead of Staff Roles if you have questions.
  • @Active DM - indicates who can actively respond to requests.
  • @Lore - responsible for answering lore questions.
  • @Rules - responsible for answering rule questions.

Common Roles

  • @Player - the majority of people on the server. They can take part in In Character events, encounters, adventures.
  • @Crime - role for people who wish to take part in criminal activities. This does not include crime fighting.
  • @Inactive Player - for people who are not active for a month or longer.

Player Roles

 
  • @Mage Guild Affiliate - members and affiliates of the IC group: The Mage's Guild.

Other Roles

 
  • @Adventurers # - created to make mentioning a group of players in an adventure easier.
  • @+1Slot - a role that grants a fourth character slot and is given to people whose role does not give an extra character slot, but they contributed enough to the server.
  • @Bot - bot role.
  • Several roles for games to make mentioning it easier, including but not limited to @Stellaris, @League etc.
