The Day of First Dawn

The Eternal Light's holy day, first day of the year. Although this is the day of celebration, families celebrate the arrival of the new year by gathering together in their homes as the worship of The Eternal Light is more private rather then centralized around temples and shrines. As a symbol of the renewal power of The Eternal Light, her followers tie a strip of cloth, symbol of their hopes and wishes for the new year, around small tree branches that are then thrown into the fire.
