Sarenrae (a.k.a. The Eternal Light, The Flower of the Dawn, The Burning Flame)

God of compassion and redemption, her message is one of understanding and optimism in even the darkest of places. She believes anyone can be redeemed, no matter how corrupt their actions have been.
The Eternal Light's followers are often rural healers and community philosophers, becoming a voice of reason and empathy in angry and cynical times. The Eternal Light is represented as a beautiful, strong woman of dark skin and light hair, rising on a pair of ivory angel wings.

The Eternal Light's holy day is The Day of First Dawn, first day of the year. Although this is the day of celebration, families celebrate the arrival of the new year by gathering together in their homes as the worship of Sarenrae is more private rather then centralized around temples and shrines. As a symbol of the renewal power of Sarenrae, her followers tie a strip of cloth, symbol of their hopes and wishes for the new year, around small tree branches that are then thrown into the fire.
