Quest #1: Seek Out The Good Oni

Storyline (confirmed details):

The following is from a Major Announcement from epochlabz account posted in the Side-Quests Channel in Panda Society Discord on December 31st 2023 at 10:45AM PST: (We've added additional line breaks and included links to other articles to the orginal text)

Mysterious iridescent fissures have appeared across the isle of Pandjia, these fissures/portals have allowed the Pandjians to glimpse other realities, similar to their own, in which strange creatures have emerged from, pouring into their world.

Seeking guidance about the supernatural phenomenon, concerned citizens turned to Priest Panda for answers, but to their horror, they discovered him in his home completely eviscerated and clinging to life, uttering the words "Yùtù, it's real, I saw it. The fissures, its power, it did this, it took the sacred relic from me, the Chow-lin masters must be warned... the emperor must be warned..." over and over again until, with his final breath, he said, "the prophecy is upon us once again, but there is hope, from darkness can come light, use the fissures to your advantage, a plexus event.

These creatures that were once thought to be myth and legend are real. Some are ferocious and hostile, that seek only to devour and destroy like the bad Oni, while others are calm and peaceful, who seek only to grow and create, like the good Oni. The pandas must seek out the good Oni, by entering the portal to their world and befriending them, forging a treaty between our two civilizations, one that will promote commerce and collaboration between our two species in the pursuit of unification, in which we will both benefit from each other's cultures and emerging technologies.

With the help of the good Oni, along with other allies from the plexus event, the pandas must search for any remnants left behind by the Yùtù, in hopes of finding a way to track it back to its homeland, only then will you be able to discover its weaknesses, only then will you have the power to defeat it... and what's coming... There... are... other... G..."
