Human

The first human was born as a result of the first union between Elves and Dragonites. His name was Yashu. Yashu had no innate magic, but it was found that he could be taught to wield some of the powers of his parents. Yashu was special, though, in that he was extremely skilled in building tools and gadgets and inventing new, useful items. His intellect was unparalleled.
His descendants went on to rapidly multiply and build such technological marvels as had never been seen. Eventually, they reached a state of such power that no other species in the world could hope to stand against them alone.
After the Torn Wars, the Elves stole the humans' ability to dream in the hope that it would dampen their intelligence and ruin their hopes.
