Schankroom

A schankroom is a colloquial term for a bar, where people gather after work, drinking alcoholic beverages and enjoy several borderline illegal substances and card games.

The name is mostly used in the northern parts of Caramiza and describes a very specific setup. Directly in front of the door you will have a long counter behind which a Schankmann will offer you to buy your beverages.

With beverage in hand, you can go past the table, sometimes into the next room, where multiple tables and chairs are grouped. Often, the air is heavy from smoke of various pipes and other smokeable things.

Usually, the Schankroom has a third room for guests where several playing games will be enjoyed. Not all of them are strictly legal, but the room is not quickly accessible by raids - any evidence can be hidden quickly should it be required.
