A Priest of morning is a priest of the church of Vitukua associated with the deitie's death and Loss aspect. They are responsible to prepare proper burials, guard over the deceased and guide the living through their grief. As such, the priests of mourning are present in almost every settlement throughout Caramiza.  

Where to find a Priest of Mourning

  A significant portion of priest of mourning are in charge of the cemeteries. They are taking care of the most mundane tasks, like cleaning and gardening as well as more sanctified ones, such as guarding and warding the graves.   The shrines of Vitukua usually have at least one priest of mourning present there, to answer the requests of the grieving. In temples, the priests of mourning not only occasionally preach in exchange with their more life positive cemetery, adjacent shrines or temples to cnsult the grieving as well as clinics to guide the dying. Also make house calls.

often long hair, bound back together with a dragon clasp some beads woven into the strands of hair usually no beard, except a few high priests   long dark grey robe, bound at the waist, with a dark green collar a stylized dragon stitched on the breast above the heart instead of a crest often wearing a dark green coat over it. made out of Silverfluff Wool

How to become one

request acceptance in a shrine by a priest usually being schooled by a single priest in smaller communities, larger communities have general education at the main temple working as helper when accolyte gaining acceptance in each area of work, noted by a small metal pin on the robe   After achieving acceptance in all disciplines, a dirt dragon becomes a fully fledged priest of mourning.

Reputation

  Even though many people call the acolytes this seemingly derogatory term, the respect for everybody working as an acolyte of Vitukua is always high. Over time, many acolytes have taken the dragon as a symbol for their profession and wear this name with a certain pride.
