Factory Plaza

Factory Plaza is a common name for the central plaza where most factory main entrances in an industrial complex open towards. The plaza usually harbors a marketplace as well as a caravansary. Depending on the size of the Factory grounds, there might also be several minor plazas with additional markets.
One common building to be found at the plaza is a Transit Station, where Worktransit Carriage are stored during the day. For this reason, most workers from the surrounding Junker Villages arrive at the plaza first in the morning.
Some plazas have large message boards at the edge of a risen plateau, where Foreseher will look for workers for the day. The message boards contain many postings about work, possible trades and for a few short hours the occasional forbidden pamphlet of the Steelbrethren.
Security on Factory Plaza is officially maintained by the factory security guards. However, in some factory settlements this system has broken down and some rebellious groups of outlaw are de factor controlling the peace and trade on the plaza. So far, this has not led to any open conflict, but factories nearby struggle to keep a reliant workforce. There are worries the factory woners would call in another private group of mercenaries, thereby escalating the conflict.
