Brasspine Species in Ekozia | World Anvil

Brasspine

Brasspine is the name of a large type of coniferous growing in the north-eastern part of Caramiza. It is fast growing with a relatively low requirement for water compared to its very wide trunk.   The bark of the Brassspine is often covered with its thick, golden sap, giving it its name. The wood has a golden color and due to its sturdiness is used a lot as a building material, especially in the golden windmills of Grasenfurt.   Since the tree grows so easily, large areas have been reforested with this type of tree. There are some observations this monoculture could possibly have harmful effects on the environment. To gain more free reign, the largest sawmill industry in the north-east, Timsen Brasswood Mill has bought large areas of forests directly from the regent's estate.
