Valafar

A Rakkan sailor whose ship was attacked by a series of ghosts and wraiths in the Arrayas Ocean. The rest of his crew was murdered while he swam away from the ship, escaping to the city of Qilthani where he recovered from the trauma of the encounter. Rakka's Heroes met with him at the Laughing Gnoll to ask him about the nature of the undead creatures that attacked his ship.
He slowly recovered from the traumatic encounter, especially once news rolled in of the wraith Petruchio Avon's defeat by Rakka's Heroes. Valafar returned to the sea years later, leading several surveying expeditions to the furthest reaches of the Arrayas Ocean.
