Lizelka, God of Prophecy

Lizelka is the God of Prophecy, who has written a path and journey for every creature in existence, and is intent for those creatures to follow that path to completion. His disciples aid in this goal.

Earning and Losing Piety

  You increase your Piety score to Lizelka when you expand the God's influence in the world in a concrete way through acts such as these:
  • Informing someone of their path, and ensuring they follow it
  • Defeating a creature that is attempting to change it's destiny
  • Correcting a tear in the fabric of destiny made by a higher being's influence
Your Piety score to Lizelka decreases if you dimunish her influence in the world, contradict her ideals, or threaten the integrity of destiny through acts such as these:
  • Allowing, or aiding, someone to make strides to change the path they journey on
  • Incorrectly informing a creature of their path, leading them astray
  • Not following your own predestined path and using your powers for your own
  Devotee (3+ Piety)
As a Devotee of Lizelka, you have an inkling into events that have yet to pass. You can roll a number of d20s equal to your Intelligence modifier at the start of the day, and use these in place of rolling any attack roll, ability check, or saving throw that you make or that are made against you. The choice has to be made before the roll, and all rolls must be refreshed at the start of each new day.   Votary (10+ Piety)
Lizelka has provided you with foresight into the very near future, allowing you to choose the correct path to follow for the best outcome. You can choose to have any creature that you can see reroll any attack roll, ability check, or saving throw after the roll has been made but before the result is known. This can be done an amount of times equal to your Intelligence modifier, and any expelled charges are refreshed at the end of a long rest.   Disciple (25+ Piety)
Your connection with Lizelka has grown to the extent that you can commune directly with him. You can use the spell divination at no material cost and without expending a spell slot. You can only contact Lizelka using the spell in this way, all other restrictions of the spell apply. You can only use the spell in this way once per long rest.   Champion (50+ Piety)
You can increase your Intelligence or Wisdom score by 2, and also increase your maximum for that score by 2.

Favour

  All people of Eifelheim are set on a path, though they may not know it; Lizelka does. She guides his disciples on their journey, and the tools he provides assists them in ensuring that the rest of the world stay on their path. The ability to glimpse into the future allows his disciples to predict creatures movements around them, bringing truth to prophecy or making their destiny their own. Lizelka does not choose her disciples lightly, as great power comes with great responsibility and the power to view the tapestry of fate can be considered one of the greatest of all. The Favour table below offers a handful of suggestions as to how you were granted this power.

  Followers of Lizelka generally do so out of a sense of duty, to follow their destined path, for they believe that it has always been wrriten that they would do so; they are purely following their destiny and in doing so, respecting the beliefs of Lizelka.
