Necropolis
Made of dark gray stone. The city is filled with tombs, monuments, and death chests. Over city hangs the undulating Everwyrm. There is always quiet wordless music throughout the city. Hidden by the forst wall, the residents call this area the stormlands.
Economy
The Necropolis is an enigma. No one should live in a large graveyard. Food is grown in glasshouses. Building materials are not needed as the population lives in the tombs, catacombs, death houses. Magic is in heavy use. No other country knows they exist. The town is divided into guilds the provide necessities via an elaborate barter structure. Animal husbandry takes place in tombs or underground. Gatherers get items from the forest. Some hunters obtain other meat for the town.
Culture
Living with the dead makes for an interesting time in the necropolis. Much of the culture revolves around making the tombs livable and getting around the odd rules of the Everwyrm. They have a rigid guild system and many of the people are placed in the guilds as young children.
Unlike many area's in Eidmaharia, the residients only use one name. Names with a strong s denote charm witches.
Locations
Bridge of Sighs - a stone bridge over waterway that may or may not be empty.
Dusk Gate - The southern gate into the Necropolis. Looks like a dark depression in the wall surrounding the Necropolis. You need an entrance charm to pass through it.
