Lead

Lead is a dense, soft metal with a silvery-blue color that tarnishes to a dull gray when exposed to air. It has a relatively low melting point and is resistant to corrosion and most acids. Because it is abundant and fairly easy to extract and shape, lead has been widely mined and used for thousands of years.
