Faesilk

Faesamin in elven. Sometimes called elven silk or faerii cloth. Spun from the cocoons of the Faemalo (Faerii Moth) which can only found in the depths of unspoiled forests and the Faerii Realm of Selene. Faesilk is spun and woven by hand amongst the Sylvanii and is only produced in quantity within Selene.
Faesilk is incredibly durable, long-lived, and provides minor damage and fire resistance. It's strength is unaffected by water or sunlight. It is somewhat resistant to dyeing and requires special alchemical processes to achieve color fastness. Faesilk is slightly magic resistant, making it more difficult to enchant. This resistance does not provide magic resistance to those wearing faesilk garments, but it may provide protection to items fully enclosed in faesilk bags or wrappings.
