Cleric

Clerics are divinely-empowered representatives of a deity. Clerics are in service and devoted to a single deity. They are personally selected by a deity and are imbued with a modest amount of the deity's personal power. Typically the longer a cleric serves their deity, the greater their connection to the deity's power.
A cleric's power is divinely provided and is unaffected by local variations in mana. Their power is greatly amplified in sacred spaces consecrated to their deity and it is weakened in the sanctified places of other celestial or infernal powers.
Clerics are usually revered leaders within their religions and often in their communities. They are commonly sought out in matters of great importance to their religion or their deity's domains of influence. Being directly empowered by a deity, their words are typically considered to be divinely inspired and/or directed.
