The Wŷëth

Adjacent to the High Temple sits the Wŷëth. Behind an intricate wall of patinated bronze and basalt, its campus is the foremost center of magical scholarship in Westryn. Within its halls, the children of the ancient Noble Houses and those of the commons prosperous enough to afford its steep tuition are taught the secrets of magic from an early age. In addition to their role as educators of the wealthy, the faculty of the Wyaeth are also expected to contribute to new research. The Wŷëth’s Great Library is reputed to be the largest collection of knowledge in the Wëryniad, though no official inventory has ever been taken. It is rivaled in scale only by the Sky Library in Bailtënair and the Undersea Library in Ëalanar. Though their primary purpose differs, collaboration between the Spire of Wisdom and the Wŷëth in unraveling the secrets of existence is a common occurrence. A subterranean tunnel directly connecting the Great Library to the Spire of Wisdom eases the passage between the two academic institutions during the winter months.
