Overview

  Archetype: Arsenal fighter, Cable inspired   Tags: Spacer, Zoner, Projectile   Species: Protogen     She is the benchmark for other spacers in the game to be measured against, her entire gameplan revolves around keeping the opponent away with projectiles and beam attacks, while using assists to cover for her poor close range abilities.   *Careful balance consideration between projectiles and projectile defense at a game-wide level needs to be considered in her frame data.   Her laser cannon is named Paoro after "Paoro Tholi: goddess of echoes; in the lore of the Ngāti Hau iwi, she gave voice to the first woman, Mārikoriko." Background

  R&D at Mako Robotics, an adrenaline junkie by nature, she has led a life of extremes and takes that to work with her every day designing increasingly overpowered machines on the regular.  

Appearance

  Extremely loud and absolutely having the time of her life with her overpowered arsenal of weapons.   Māori facial tattoos are instead done as decals in her helmet and visor, and should represent bits and pieces of her life story. ***do extra research on cultural tattoos before designing (Your culture is so damned interesting to learn about <3)   Paoro (her laser cannon) is a near-future sci-fi looking cannon visually somewhere between Iron Man's Proton Cannon and Cable's Viper, with cooling vents for secondary steam animations. Color scheme is Steel and Carbon Fiber.

    Sidearm - HP (Air OK)   -Fires your sidearm, can be fired up to 3 times in succession   *one shot while in the air, pushes you back slightly   -Functions like Cable's HP, basically a hitscan attack with projectile attributes   -Projectile     Gotcha! - 2 HP   -Aim your sidearm at a 45 degree angle and fire a quick 2 shot burst   *Fires directly downward in the air and maintains momentum   -Functions the same as Sidearm

  Beam Cannon - 236 LP/HP (Air OK)   -Fires a beam from the Beam Cannon   -Hits 3/5 times based on LP/HP   *LP is safer with a shorter recovery     Det Charge - 214 LK/HK (Air OK)   -Throw a remote detonated explosive that can be detonated   -LK throws the explosive in an arc, which sticks to the ground or enemy   -HK detonates the charge   *can cancel into 214 HK out of many moves   -Projectile

Design Notes

  Beam cannon sound design will have some form of deep tuba blended in with an electrical sound. Should get heavily distorted and saturated during beam supers
