Using augmented blindfolds, this cult gains new members by forcing the blindfold onto them, taking control of their mind.
The original leader is likely long since dead, instead the blindfolds spread like a contagion, with it's members creating new blindfolds and applying them to new targets.

Visual language involves many dark grays and high contrast primary colors, mostly reds. Blindfolds can project simple text and images in front of them, usually simple orders such as "OBEY", "SERVE", etc, or a simple X
