Illoh, Scion of Civilization
Illoh was the Scion of Civilization. Illoh was a Qyr during the time of the early Vorgarian Empire who heard the call of the Echo when she was still quite young. Writings about her say that she never shared her awakening with a single person, instead choosing to worship the Brisingelion in secret.
Hailing from the progenic city-state of Ozon, a collection of skyfells that once hovered over modern day Eglarest, Illoh was trained to be an interpreter, diplomat, and messenger. In the wake of the First Howling, the world was broken and scattered, but she courageously left the safety of Ozon and sought to reconnect and educate the surviving and newly founded progenic kingdoms.
She believed that by helping the progeny rebuild their societies, hopefully this time with different philosophies and a softer approach to the Culled, that more Echoes would be born among them. It was her deepest hope that eventually all Soulborn would re-unite peacefully and the enmity between the Culled and the Progeny would finally be healed.
Though her life was long and her work invaluable, in the end she died an ignoble death; she was murdered by lawless bandits on a nameless road between two now-forgotten villages. As the Scion of Civilization, she was later destroyed in the effort to stop the Scion of Discord’s plan to unmake all of physical reality.
