Lyndion Dormitory

The Dormitory is where all Lyndion Academy of the Arcane students live. The dormitory is five stories tall, with the bottom level restricted to first and second year primary students, the second and above to all other students. The dormitory was designed in such a way that it is open ended, meaning that mother nature can freely move into the building.
There are two hundred and fifty rooms starting from the second floor and above, while the first floor has combination rooms used by the first and second year primary students. Each room can house four students, though usually only two students are assigned to a room.
There are various types of dorm rooms, from the simple to the luxurious. Students are assigned to a simple one and can upgrade based upon their behavior to a luxurious room. Simple rooms only have a bed, closest, and study desk. While luxurious rooms can have several beds, a large closest, a couple desks, sofa's, or any other kind of an item that the owning student desires.
Regardless of the room, all rooms have a balcony that allows the student access to the outside.
The Dormitory is run by a committee of secondary students, these students are responsible for ensuring that the needs and desires of the students are met; they are also responsible for making sure no primary student is left unaccounted when curfew hits.

Alterations

Over the decades the building has gone through a large number of modifications, originally it only housed rooms for living and sleeping, but recently new rooms have been added; including a cafeteria, a pool, a recreational hall, and on the roof a play area for the primary students to relax and enjoy nature. Other rooms added included laundry and private cooking areas so that students can make their own food.
There are private rooms as well for studying magic and even a large library on the first floor.
