Ceruleum Powder
Ceruleum Powder is what happens when Ceruleum Dust is allowed to settle onto the surface, this turns the dust into a powder which is then used in the creation of bullets for firearms.
Properties
Geology & Geography
The material originates from Ceruleum Dust that has been left alone for long periods of time to settle onto the ground.
History & Usage
Discovery
This powder was first discovered during the early days of the colonization of Eskelia, it's use as a gunpowder, however was discovered entirely by accident when a miner dropped a match near a large amount of the powder which caused it to combust.
Everyday use
Ceruleum Powder is commonly used in bullets and other explosives, such as bombs.
Reusability & Recycling
The powder can be used not just as a force to kill, but also, as one to 'clean'. The combustion of the powder can burn away all other particles in the area, leaving a place completely clean and devoid of bacteria and other organisms.
Distribution
Trade & Market
Ceruleum Powder is a common material found anywhere that mines exist, because of this, mines export this material for additional funds to different types of industry. It's value is based upon the amount of powder that can be gathered up in any given time and the amount needed in the industry.
Storage
Due to it's combustible nature, it has to be stored in sealed non-flammable containers for transport and storage.
Type
Ore/Mineral
Odor
Has an acrid bite to it, though depending on where the firearm is fired, the smell could be stronger or lighter.
Taste
Has a bitter taste to it, rough, and hard to swallow.
Color
Ceruleum Powder is orange in color but can be mixed with dyes to actually create a different color, this is done usually to differentiate between the types of powder used.
