Power Channeling

Crystals regardless of attunement, unless they are unbound*, will siphon power from the Magic World into the Material World and vince versa. It is this power that is being caught and used to power Mag-tech Technology. Depending on the size of the crystal it can siphon more or less power power at any given time. Bigger crystals can siphon more power in less time than a small crystal can siphon the same amount of power.

Unbound Crystals

Through a process unknown by everyone except the high council of the Techmagitar Alliance a crystal can be unbound. They are mostly used in Constructs and Airships to enable everyone with a Attuned Crystal Key to power them and not have a big crystal be attuned to a mortal being so when they die the equipment becomes unusable.

*Unbound crystals do not siphon power from the Magic World unless being powered by an attuned crystal.
