Confronted on all sides by obligations and the like, the The League of Farstriders tries to figure out their next steps, only to find that someone has already taken steps on their own...

Our group wakes to discover that their dear friend and fellow League member has vanished in the night. Clues point to her having left with a member of another group. They set off for the wilds, fresh horses at hand and a mission in mind.   After 5 days travelling, one stay at an inn, 3 ogre's fought, one dragon spotted, and a half-elf thief prevented from his craft they arrive to set up camp at just another random spot of road. Unbeknownst to them, just a few miles up the road is Akta with her companion. Pau decides that now is a good time for some reconnaissance and heads a mile or so up the road to see if he can see any signs of his friend. Before he reaches her hiding place, however, he spots an army of goblinoids approaching from the northeast. He waits and they quickly surround him, taking up a circular position. After a brief exchange with a translator, they inform him of their plans kill him and he makes his escape, thanks to a well placed double thaumaturgy on both his and Akta's part, he manages to distract them and step over the heads of the thinnest portion of goblins. They get a few hits in, but before they can attack in earnest he dashes off using his incredible speed. Creating distractions far off the path, he makes it back to camp just in time for Doc to spot Akta and Enoon "creeping" up the road. Just as they are spotted ahead, they are also spotted behind, by a contingent of 20 goblinoids! The chase begins as these two forces prepare to clash.
