The gang takes up a job with Lord Thewynn and agrees to guard him and his family on the way to a new settlement on the eastern side of the island. After a week exploring the city, they move on. What they find there is a bit more than they were told...

Our brave adventurers take stock of their surroundings. Finding mention of a job offered by a rich nobleman, they go to Gyndrin and agree to guard his transport on the way to this new settlement, Blackspire. Along the way they are accosted by a pirate raid which they fend off, but at the cost of one of the wagons. After questioning Lord Thewynn he informs them he believed it was well known that the Pirate King had claim to this land, and as a way to appease them, offered an additional 20 gold Eyes per day, on top of the 100 per day already promised. After setting up camp on the second day they spotted some lights floating out on the water, suspecting the pirates again they watched it like hawks, but no activity was detected. The next morning it was revealed that this was no mere pirate ship, but a massive barge with a small town worth of people and buildings on top! Now they stare down this threat... TBC
