The Underdark
The Underdark is a treacherous and danger-filled zone of earth beneath the crust of Edda, home to many mysterious mutations and dark reflections, as the Mana underneath the surface is odd, and at times violent.
However, within this subterranean world, there exists several massive an ancient cities, where it is rumored ancient people and beings still live, although no one has survived long enough to make it down there to see.
The cities are as follows:
- Keter: Said to be located under Magnum Opus, and the capital of ancient Underdark Society.
- Chokhmah: Said to be located under Avalon, and holds a massive library of ancient texts.
- Binah: Said to be located underneath Atalanta, and holds a repository of studies.
- Da'at: Said to be located underneath Laputa, and holds texts of philosophy.
- Chesed: Said to be located underneath Hippolyta, and holds medicine of many kinds.
- Gevurah: Said to be located underneath Alicein, and holds an ancient monastery.
- Tif'eret: Said to be underneath Agartha, and holds Art by the hundreds.
- Netzach: Said to be underneath Eastern Kaguya, and holds weapons long forgotten.
- Hod: Said to be underneath Boncly, and holds treasure long cherished.
- Yessod: Said to be underneath Western Kaguya, and contains texts of ancient history, even before them.
- Malkuth: It is unknown where it lies, but it's said that whoever sits upon its throne has all the wisdom of the Underdark.
Geography
The Underdark is a rocky landscape, filled with strange fungi, toxins, and other such lifeforms. But that makes for unique biomes and creatures that give it its unique environment.
