Ms. Marion Corax de Chance
Marion de Chance was born to Warren de Chance and an unknown mother, the youngest of 3 siblings, alongside her twin older sisters, Dahlia and Sasha, both 10 years her senior. Warren had a profitable ore refinement company, so the four of them were able to live a comfortable and seemingly happy life.
But all of that would come crashing down when Marion was 9 years old. Her father had been at the head of something terrible, a cult of madness and fear, and had driven his worshipers to suicide alongside him. Sasha was too deep in her father's beliefs and died with them, while Marion had snuck into the final meeting and gotten Dahlia out in time, leaving the two of them very much alone.
Afterward, her father's political and economic enemies took the chance to use the scandal to appropriate his company and the girl's inheritance from under them. Dahlia, resenting her younger sister and their circumstances, fled to Theogony following a political marriage, leaving Marion to fend for herself in Paris.
During The Border Wars, Marion was able to reclaim part of her fathers' industry, her inheritance, by creating De Chance Artificing, and making a name for herself with renowned ideas and innovative practices that helped Atalanta immensely during the conflicts of the war, mostly in the preservation of soldiers lives.
Following the conflicts, she was able to use her newfound leverage to get damning evidence on those who wronged her as a child, bringing their own crimes to the forefront, and fully claimed her destined inheritance, and used it to elevate her Artificing company to a full Automotives company, which remains fruitful to this day.

General Physical Condition
Marion de Chance tends to be a bit of a glutton, as she knows the pain of going hungry, so she's proudly plump and confident in her body, although she also watches her nutritional health so it doesn't get too bad. Furthermore, her age is starting to show, as a 100% human, but nothing too stark has appeared yet.

Marion is a proud and out Lesbian and has taken a few girlfriends in the past, although none have really made it too far.
Education
As a child, Marion was home-tutored by some of the greatest minds in Paris, even personally knowing a few of the future Kings of Paris, but following her family's loss of status she had to forego all of that and learn what she could about living on the streets. Following her formation of De Chance Industries, she's clearly educated herself on the intricacies of engineering as well.
Employment
While on the streets of Paris, Marion took on any task she could do that'd get her a few gold coins. She learned how to sew, carve, run messages, fletch, even do some factory work as well. Now that she's the CEO of De Chance Automotives, she's not just a CEO but also the head engineer and designer.
Accomplishments & Achievements
Marion has many things to be proud of. Working herself from the streets to claiming her birthright once more, building an engineering empire, thwarting her father's grandest plans, even working to maintain the structure of Paris' Crescent Moon District, currently a crumbling graveyard for the Dark Elf community.
But in her own eyes, her greatest achievement will be winning back the love of her elder sister, Dahlia, after years of separation. Although, that connection seems to be unraveling once more, for reasons Marion can not guess.
Failures & Embarrassments
Marion has suffered many failures, almost as many as her successes, but none has held her back in her pursuit of a better future.
Mental Trauma
Realizing her father was a cult leader, and a mass manipulator, shook up many of Marion's perceptions about her early childhood and affects her to this day. Furthermore, her inability to save her eldest sister weighs on her, as does the years spent isolated from Dahlia.
Intellectual Characteristics
Marion's main strategy in intellect is to listen and absorb. She has found that if you approach someone from a position of a student, and give them the room and time to speak, they'll most often say more than they ever intended to. While she realizes this is a bit of a manipulative tactic, she almost never uses gained information to impact someone's life, unless they're a particularly cruel individual.
Morality & Philosophy
Marion's main philosophy in life is to strive to make life easier for anyone and everyone, regardless of who they are or their position in society. Her philosophy in engineering is to create a world where no one has to rely on magic alone, just in case the day comes where magic fails them.
