Visko Malow (Vis-co Ma-low)

Early Life

Visko Malow was born as the only son of a blacksmith in Capswold but quickly distinguished that he wanted to join The Old Dynasty's army. However, his father disaproved of this and so Visko would grow up often disagreeing with his parents and undermining their authority over him. He was said to be an ambitious man with very little respect for anyone who disagreed with him and sometimes a short temper. At the age of 14 Malow ran away from home to join the Dynasty, leaving his mother heartbroken.

First Ecothnic War

Malow joined the Dynasty's army during the second half of First Ecothnic War and proved himself to be quite skilled in many of his first tests. Malow was familiar with many weapons as his father had let him handle items such as swords and knives when he started helping out in the blacksmiths. This early skill helped him get promoted to Lieutenant and posted in Notras Castle.

In the year -40 The Dundell attacked Notras Castle where Malow was posted. The attack took the Dynasty completly off guard and in the chaos Malow's captain was killed. Malow managed to rally the remaining Dynasty forces to push the Dundell out, which earned him his former captain's title.

It was also around this time that Malow discovered that his father had been suppyling the Dundell with weapons and armour. He returned to Capswold to confront his father, and eventually killed him out of rage.

After the Dundell sucsesfully took Capswold and the conflict looked to be over, Malow was assigned to protect a man called Rezide, who was the next heir to the Dynasty. Unfortunatly they were discovered by King Harald Hundra of Vacana] (organization:989dc5b1-c47d-4da3-b9c9-d50e9369b45e) who, insted of killing them banished them to the mountains of the north where he assumed that they would freeze to death. Whilst in exile Malow plotted revenge, rising to the position of Rezide's top general in the process, and helped to form @[The Second Dynasty.
