Introduction:

Androids are a humanoid synthetic species created by the Lashunta during the Galactic Precursor era to serve as personal servants. They have long since outgrown this role, and they are now a unique species that can be found nearly anywhere.

Appearance:

Androids appear similar in shape to members of the homo genus, though they usually lack some characteristics like the antenna of the lashunta. The skin of an andoid is made of flexible synthetic fibers, giving them a rubbery consistency. The skin is broken up by lines of glowing lights, usually concentrated around the facial area. These lines are unique to every individual unless purposely made to immitate another. Androids have eyes that can glow brightly in many different colors.   Androids were originally designed to immitate lashunta as closely as possible, so they were created to immitate biological sexes. This appearance remains today both physically and culturally, and approximately 63% of androids alove today identify as male or female. Androids lack reproductive systems and instead create more of their kind in a special ceramony with another person, usually another andoid.

Lifestyle:

Like most sythetic species androids do not eat food, and instead charge themselves with either solar or battery power. An android typically needs to charge themselves once a week, though this charging period is normally split up into many small session across the week.   Androids are like Protectors in the regard that they immitate organic life and fit in with them culturally. They normally live in organic communities as opposed to synthetic ones, though androids can be found in nearly every corner of the galaxy.
