The government of Eceon is spilt into two across each main continent. This has always been the case and they decided to work together during the industrial era which was a few hundred years ago. They work together if there’s any very important matters to discuss.
History
Prelude
The Quch Coalition has existed for a long time dating back to 1000 BD when the countries were in a state of disarray after the
Rose War. A few leaders from each country joined together and formed the Quch Coalition to help keep things stable and secure. They have a history of corruption but that’s evened out since they worked with the other government.
The G.O.W was in discussion for years before it was created but only got the proper set up in (date). The countries were constantly changing leaders thanks to the intense conflicts between them especially between
Mougenia and
Slavaria. To keep things safe the leaders of those two made a treaty to stop fighting but the other countries were weary of it so their leaders tried to make a new organization that basic rules in place for wars but Slavaria took a long time before agreeing to it. It later became the head government of the continent.
How they work together
After a few rounds of news surrounding their military, the two governments talked with each other about what they should do if this happens on the planet and what it could mean to the Cédai as a whole. After a bit of back and forth conversation they decided to pass a law that forbids violence and murder. If they do then they will risk exile or execution. It was a tough decision but they decided it was best for everyone. There was also a little agreed between them that said if anything important came up they will work together to talk through it. The two governments could make their own laws for their own lands without interference from the other.
