Tiamat (Tea-a-mat)

The Dark Lady, Five Headed Serpent, The Chaos Queen, these are just a few of the many titles and names held by the Draconic Goddess Tiamat. Said to be the yang to her brother, Bahamut's, ying Tiamat strives to undo everything he maintains.   Talk of the Chaos Queen is forbidden in many parts of Ecadia however, if you know where to look, you can always find a hidden den or shrine to this chaotic deity. Her followers describe her as a gargantuan dragon, dark multicoloured scales coating her body from shoulders to tail and five distinct heads, one of each of the main chromatic colours, representing her children.   Where Bahamut represents the domain of Order Tiamat holds the realm of Chaos, with this title she is often assosciated as an evil deity, her followers look to sow chaos wherever they can often resting at the heart of rebellions, raids and other disruptive events. These followers are shunned by many for their chaotic and usually intense behaviours often forming underground cults and secret organisations, those of which will sometimes align themselves with other deities or cults if their goals will result in the spread of more chaos.   Chromatic Dragons view Tiamat as their creator and although majority of them recognise her as such few of them accept her as their God, often due to their own arrogance and hunger for power. Those that do follow her usually find themselves at heads of cults and worship groups as a messenger of their Chaotic deity.   Ancient legends believe Tiamat and Bahamut, the two Draconic Deities were once one being, a being who was split in two when they drew the wrath of the other gods leaving them at odds with each other for all eternity as a form of punishment.
