Viltóver Kumohr, Wise Beyond Years (Villt-oh-veer kum-or)

Viltóver Kumohr, once known as the Wise Beyond Years, used to be the cloud giant advisor for the god-king of Ostoria. At its height, Ostoria was a holy city of giants and the seat of the entire Ostorian Kingdom until it was destroyed by dragons in the War of Many Colors. Viltóver was known as a shrewd tactician with the sharpest wit of any Giant, despite his lesser place in The Ordning. He garnered the highest position ever achieved by a giant that wasn't a storm giant, though that all came crashing down when he was approached by the queen who was more than impressed with his brilliant mind and muscular body. When the god-king found out that Viltóver had slept with his wife, he called upon the might of his father, Annam; god of all giants, to punish him. Annam, infuriated that such a loyal servant of his most prized son would betray him so, immortally imprisoned Viltóver in one of his underground temples deep beneath the Meltharri Peaks. Viltóver would be bound in a dark cavern with spectral, unbreaking chains and locked behind a door sealed with a powerful ward. His chains sustain themselves off of Annam's divine might, keeping Viltóver immortally living while making themselves utterly invincible to all but the most potent magic. Even after Ostoria has fallen and Annam turned his back on the giant race, his chains persisted.
Over the years, other civilizations uncovered the temple and interacted with Viltóver. Although he appreciated the company of intellectual elves who taught him of the events of the Age of Elves, they eventually would stop coming, and the seals on his doors would again shut tight. The next time they were opened they were done so by a mage of the Masleawe empire, who although he brought information of his mighty empire to share, he was more interested in the history of Ostoria. He would constantly pester Viltóver, and even sometimes bring his friends to assist in magically penetrating his mind for the information they desired. After these encounters, Viltóver's fondness for visitors would disappear, though that wouldn't quench his thirst for knowledge of the outside world. Over the tens of thousands of years he was imprisoned, he carved out his cavern into a more comfortable living space and crafted many stone tablets upon which he would inscribe his thoughts to everything he knew of the outside world as it was. Now, all he desires is to walk the world once more and explore, though he knows that if his chains are severed, so will his life.

Despite his imprisonment for tens of thousands of years, Viltóver Kumohr's chains percent him from aging and he has no need for food or drink. This has allowed him to maintain his muscular build.

Apparel & Accessories

Viltóver wears earrings made of mammoth tusks. His garments consist of the usual cloud giant white toga with half his chest exposed, and he wears light wooden sandals ideal for walking upon clouds. His entire outfit is adorned with gold trim and accessories, wearing magical bracers made of pure gold.
