The History of Ebreon so far
Humans
First Age
Midgardian - a norse-type civilization created by the Midgardian creator gods. They were created on the northernmost sections of Koplesh.
Talamite - a celtic-type civilization created by the Talamite creator gods. They were created on the westernmost sections of Koplesh.
Olympian - a greek-type civilization created by the Olympian creator gods. They were created on the Easternmost sections of Koplesh.
Gebbian - an egyptian-type civilization created by the Gebbian creator gods. They were created on the southernmost sections of Koplesh.
Second Age
Tellusian - a vast empire akin to the roman empire created long after the four civilizations of Koplesh met. After years of war, a peace agreement was drawn up, and the four civilizations agreed to become one empire. There was plenty of rebellion and fracturing. This is when some even began to sail to other continents.
Ogurtian - an empire of exiles/rebels from the Tellusian empire who settled Edos
Immuinian - still around to this day - a gathering of small tribes and villages living on Zikrath who either fled or were exiled from or simply desired to leave either the Tellusian or Orgurtian empires.
Third Age
Sinogian - an unparalleled empire that spanned the entire globe after the events of the first great cataclysm. The surviving people of the world agreed to put aside their differences to avoid such an event from happening again. This civilization fell as agents from within worked for its downfall. This coupled with a demonic event spurred on the second great cataclysm, which led way to the fourth age, and the current landscape of Ebreon.
Elves
First Age
Forlondian - a former empire of elves which spanned the continent of Edos in the first age. The empire was destroyed during the first great cataclysm, after which the elves split off into smaller villages, some of which eventually formed kingdoms lasting to this day.
Dwarves
First Age
Bag Malduhrian - a vast dwarven kingdom stretching throughout the obsidian mountains of Zikrath. Sadly, the dwarven kingdom could not outlast the horrific monstrosities the land was overrun with and eventually fell.
Giants
First Age
Gith Vagunian - before the humans formed kingdoms, the giants ruled the continent of Koplesh, calling their kingdom Gith Vangun. Early in the first age, this kingdom was overthrown. Ever since, the humans made a habit of taking more and more gaint territory as the centuries went by.

Needs & Relations
Humans
Krenadan
Light skinned, western European looking. They generally are not overly antagonistic or expansionist, preferring to live at peace with their neighbors, but they will not be pushed around. Their history is a bit checkered, as their capitol city is founded on land stolen from fire giants, and other old expansions may have been less than humane, but in recent history the kingdom has preferred diplomacy and alliances to war and expansion.
Stosian
Darker skinned, middle eastern/Mediterranean looking. They are definitely a bit more militaristic than their neighbors to the North. While not outright hostile, they generally throw around their military might and keep an open eye for their rivals' weaknesses and chances for expansion. Still, the Stosians know the value of peace, diplomacy, and alliances.
Otravian
Tanned s - kinned, northern Mediterranean looking. They generally keep to themselves, though their borders are open to all visitors. Otravians care little for wars, expansion, and political might. They instead pride themselves on their extraordinary economy, artistic expression, and cultural influence. For this reason, Otravian tourism is incredibly high, a fact they are rather proud of. The Otravians have found security not in an overly powerful military, but in strategic alliances with parties interested in the continued prosperity of the kingdom.
Astrayan
Light sk - inned, eastern European looking. The Astrayan Empire is a military dictatorship. While sounding rather bleak, this is not all bad. The Astrayan people value authority, law, strength, and duty. They view their strong military not as an oppressor to overcome, but a statement of who they are as a people. While Astraya is rarely in a state of "peace", they rarely need to engage in all out war either. Smaller villages on the Astrayan outskirts know the inevitability of joining the empire sooner or later, the Astrayans are smart enough to leave the Kyphnor Elves to the South alone, and they rely on supplies and weapons from the Geldor Dwarves to the North. This leaves Otravia as the closest viable kingdom for all out war and conquest. The people of Koplesh hope this never happens, but fear that day.
Other Humans
The rest of - the diverse people groups are scattered throughout Koplesh, as well as Zikrath, and to a much higher degree, Edos. Ertatians, for instance, make up the majority of Western Edos, at least from a human perspective.
Elves
Iyabellian
Wood Elves - . The Iyabellian Elves believe they should have a say in the world, from humanitarianism to politics and anything in between. They generally stay out of the humans' selfish wars, though will offer aid to either side in an attempt to save already frail and short lives. The Iyabellian Elves have a strained relationship with the Korahgduhr Dwarves, though they have generally favorable relations to the three nearby human kingdoms: Krenada, Stosia, and Otravia.
Kyphnorian
High Elves - . The Kyphnorian Elves believe it is not the elves' place to weigh in on the matters of men and their foolishness. As human kingdoms grow with an ever increasing appetite for expansion, the Kyphnorian Elves have erected a wall around the area of Koplesh they have claimed for themselves. They are perfectly content to know nothing of what happens beyond that wall. The Kyphnorians can be persuaded to trade with outsiders, though they can be a bit fickle in this regard, as they look down on humans, dwarves, and other elves. For this reason combined with impeccable elven craftsmanship, any goods from Kyphnor are in extreme demand and can be worth a small fortune.
Dwarves
Geldorian
Hill Dwar - ves. The Geldorian Dwarves certainly make fine miners and are wonderful craftsmen, but what separates them from their Korahgduhrian cousins is their innate magical ability. This makes the Geldorian dwarves some of the best enchanters and crafters of magic items throughout Ebreon. They are happy to trade with any who have the coin for their unmatched wares.
Mountan Dwarv - es. The dwarves of Korahgduhr love the mines. Positioned between the mainland and the underdark, these dwarves are able to mine incredible treasures. These treasures are then taken into the city where their craftsmen make true works of art. Korahgduhr has a very friendly relationship with it's closest neighbor, the human kingdom of Krenada. Aside from a tenuous relationship with the Elves of the Iyabel Forest, Korahgduhr tends to get along with most of the other political factions in the area.
