Kyfnor
The Kyfnor Elves live off to the east, secluded from the rest of the continent by a large wall stretching over 300 miles long. This group of High Elves prefers to stay secluded from the world at large, letting men and others worry about their own troubles. They will, however, reach out in times of possibly world ending events. The Kyfnor Elves are a Magocracy, ruled over by a council always consisting of an incredibly powerful wizard, sorcerer, and cleric. Being a people heavily affected by the use of magic, they have no roads throughout their kingdom, instead using secrets known only to them to cast teleportation spells and use public portals guarded by members of their elite army. This army not only guards portals and polices their citizens, but stand guard along the wall and are always ready to defend their lands from whatever may emerge on the other side. While not the largest army, their soldiers are the stuff of legends, known throughout Ebreon for their courage and skill. No sane person ever desires combat against a Kyfnor elf.
