Morventhal Forest
The lush green trees rise to a height way up and above your head, with a few drops of sunlight shining through the leaves. The fungi all around you gives off light of blue, pink and yellow, lighting up the path underneath you. In the distance you see a young buck, standing majestically and staring at you with an intent to protect. It’s hair shines with a blue color, lighter spots perfectly planted on it’s rear. The buck has fungi growing all over it, it’s crown made fully out of it. In the distance you hear the sounds of a creek and you can see an opening in front of you. In the clearing the light from the sun above shines on to the deep blue water. The fog is lighter here and you take deep breath of fresh air.

Fauna & Flora
Deer and rabbits with fungi growing out of them, in colorful palettes. The forest is filled with flowers in bright and warning colors. The trees have a sickly shade to them.
The animals in the forest have all been infected with the weird spores that create the Morvonids Disease, and have mutated into fungal creatures now classified as plants rather than animals. These creatures aren’t harmful to others, they have mutated and adapted through years of exposure, making it possible for them to roam freely and protect those who enter from the dangers of the forest.

Natural Resources
The mushrooms themselves aren’t dangerous, and make for a delicious ingredient in many dishes. Morventhal exports these and prepare them so that the fungi’s spores don’t spread and infect outsiders. This also decreases the risk of the disease developing if exposed.
History
This forest has been around for thousands of years, and the inhabitants have lived in around it for many years. Because of the thick canopy, light rarely meets the ground, giving many creatures and races from the underworld possibility and daytime access to the overworld. The myconids oftentimes ventured to the overworld and would spread their plants as gifts to the ones above, establishing a relationship with the gnomes living there.
Tourism
For fear of catching Morvonids Disease, those who once came to the forest seeking it’s beauty and inspiration, now turn away and seek other locations.
