War of One-Hundred Kingdoms
The War of One-Hundred Kingdoms took place within a decade of the great Hallowing War. At this time, the land lay ravaged by the armies of the Unhallowed, and the Great Famine only over for a single season. Many of the human, elven, and dwarven kingdoms across Emmeron, as a result of these two cataclysms, were left in utter ruin. While many solemnly celebrated the end of the war and famine, a number of political factions, including advisors, lesser noblemen, past Kings of fallen kingdoms, and military leaders seeking additional power, all rushed to seize control of the now empty and scarred lands of the Continent.
Year 5: Tensions rise as various factions and races vie for control of the reclaimed territories. Small skirmishes and border disputes become increasingly common.
Year 10: The first major conflict erupts as a group of human kingdoms, united under a charismatic leader, clashes with a coalition of elven and dwarven realms seeking to expand their own influence.

Year 20: The war reaches its peak, with battles raging across the continent. The kingdoms struggle for control over strategic resources, trade routes, and ancient ruins said to hold immense power.
Year 25: Exhaustion and war-weariness begin to take their toll on the warring factions. Efforts for diplomacy and peace talks emerge, but distrust and old grudges make meaningful negotiations difficult.
Year 30: A series of decisive battles and diplomatic breakthroughs lead to the signing of the Treaty of Emmeron. The war officially comes to an end, marking the beginning of a new era.
Year 35: The aftermath of the war sees the formation of new kingdoms, the redrawing of borders, and the reshaping of political alliances. The scars of the conflict remain, both physically and emotionally.
Year 40: The War of One-Hundred Kingdoms is remembered as a tumultuous chapter in Emmeron's history, forever shaping the balance of power on the continent and leaving a legacy of both triumph and tragedy.
