Cryptbane

Cryptbane was taken from the corpse of a powerful warlock who was a part of the slaughter of Aibel Amel's village. The glaive's name comes from both the abilities it is imbued with as well as the ornate decorations which run the length of the weapon. Cryptbane was forged from cold iron and imbued with the ghost touch and keen edge abilities. Its former wielder needed to defend himself against the creatures he summoned. The head of the blade is the thickest part of the weapon. The blade was crafted by a master metalsmith and inlaid with the faces of screaming skulls along the top of the blade, sweeping back towards the main shaft. The shaft itself is steel, inscribed with an ornate carving of skeletons, twisted and writhing together. The opposite end of the glaive is carved from cold iron and lead to help balance out the blade. This end is carved into the shape of a damaged skull, with a thick spike protruding from the top of the skull.
